Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa, is a chronic disease of uncertain etiology; estimates of prevalence range between 0.7 and 4.1% in the US and Europe.

The pharmacy opened on Jan. 8, 1954, in the building next to Green's Grocery on Riverside Drive. The pharmacy then moved to its current location several doors down in 2004.

The Northeast Georgia History Center will host its final performance of New Gainesville Chautauqua: Founders of Georgia on Tuesday, August 8th at 7 PM. The program will start off with a Baroque-style dance by Kat Nagar of Atlanta Historic Dance.
