    Mark "Porkchop" Holder, a Chattanooga-based musician praised by his peers as the embodiment of the blues, has died. Friend and former Black Diamond Heavies bandmate John Wesley Myers said Holder, 52, died Thursday morning under hospice care at his home in Dayton, Tennessee. "His health had declined rapidly over the last couple months," Myers said in an email.
