    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Fort Wayne Police have arrested a man after a chase involving dozens of patrols cars ended on Coliseum Boulevard. It all started around noon today when officers were helping the Allen County Sheriff's Department serve a warrant at 1300 Summit Street. Police say the suspect drove away, leading to the pursuit. FOX 55 News witnessed more than a dozen police cars chasing a pickup truck across Coliseum Boulevard onto Executive Boulevard.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Special Olympics Indiana says registration is now open for the 2025 Polar Plunge, taking place February 8 at Metea County Park. The yearly fundraiser aims to raise awareness for local Special Olympics programs by inviting participants to take a dip into the cold water. Anyone who wants to take part will need to be at least 12 years old and raise at least $99 in pledges before the day of the event. Plungers who raise the minimum will get a special t-shirt and cup.

    STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) -- Indiana State Police say troopers are on the scene of a three-car crash in Steuben County. ISP tells FOX 55 News that the westbound lanes are closed on the 146-mile marker of I-80/90. At least one person is seriously injured. Police do not know how long the lanes will be shut down. We will update this story as more details come in.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- A Fort Wayne man is being charged with murder in connection to a shooting on August 22. Police say at around 11-15 that night, Dwayne Sims, 63, shot and killed a man named Jamion Martin at an apartment. When police arrived, they saw what looked to be a bullet hole in the wall and were met by a witness when they went inside. The witness reportedly told police that Martin was at his apartment for a few weeks leading up to his death.
