Shaquile Booker, 30, identified by Indiana State Police as a non-custodial parent, is accused of abducting the infant from the Plymouth area and taking the child nearly an hour away.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Traffic heading north from downtown Fort Wayne was backed up Friday afternoon after a crash on a busy road. Two lanes of Spy Run Avenue were temporarily shut down after a collision near the intersection with Elizabeth Street, dispatchers confirmed. The crash happened around 4 p.m.; it’s unclear when the road will reopen. While details are scarce, dispatch also confirmed two people had minor injuries. Traffic appeared to be flowing more smoothly by 5 p.m.

    DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – On Feb. 26, baby Jaxon’s family was driving on I-69 when he suddenly started to turn blue. His mom, Sarah Flowers, called 911, and DeKalb County Deputy Aaron Long arrived minutes later to administer life-saving measures. The three-month-old went from not breathing to crying, signaling he was going to be OK. “That was one cry that I hope I can hear for the rest of my life, remembering the sound of that,” Long recalled.

Carmeli’s Dough, operated by Chef Guy Carmeli, is the sister company of Pasta di Guy and is located right next to it in the East Hall. The shop serves fresh donuts, cinnamon rolls, bread and more baked goods. Chef Carmeli trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London and specializes in Italian-inspired cuisine.
