Content warning: This article discusses domestic violence. By now, you’ve probably heard about It Ends With Us (2024) for all the wrong reasons. And that’s a damn shame. Adapted from Colleen Hoover’s best-selling 2016 novel, It Ends With Us (IEWU) follows Lily Bloom (Blake Lively), a florist who starts dating neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni) while renovating her new flower shop. Though Ryle appears innocuous and charming at first, he soon begins abusing Lily physically and emotionally.

It’s finals season on the Hilltop. You know what that means: Ben making another tier list to avoid doing homework. However, I must start this second edition of Everything I got wrong in sports this year (EIGWISTY if you will) with terrible news. I actually had a better year in predictions than last year, and as such, do not have as many Golden Eagle and Raptor sized gaffes for you to guffaw to this time around. Fear not, though. I still did miss big on a number of occasions.

Walking into AMC Georgetown on a sunny Monday afternoon, I was completely unprepared to be transported into the jaw dropping, mind-bending universe of Dune: Part Two. This movie shook me to my core not just emotionally, but physically too. The soundscape was so thrillingly loud that at certain points I was nervous that the speakers would combust; the bass turned my seat into a massage chair.
