"Just put food in a bag by your mailbox, and then later on that day, when your mailman delivers the mail, they pick up the food, and then at the end of the day, they'll deliver it to the local food pantry in our community," said food drive organizer Pat Nee. 27 News is a proud sponsor of 'Stamp Out Hunger'.

The fire was reported on WIS 104 northbound/southbound. Officials were called to the scene around 4:10 a.m. The Green County Sheriff's Department is the responding agency.

    GREEN COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is alerting drivers near Brodhead of an incident between WIS 11 and County B. A fire on WIS 104 northbound/southbound has all lanes blocked in both directions. Officials were called to the scene around 4:10 a.m. According to WisDOT the estimated duration of the lane blockage is two hours. An alternate route for northbound traffic would be to take WIS 11 eastbound to WIS 213, head north to County B and head west back to WIS 104.

    MADISON (WKOW) - Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District is set to begin a sanitary sewer project on May 12 that will impact traffic near west UW-Madison campus, the VA Hospital and University Hospital. The district said the Highland Ave. Sewer Project is a major sanitary sewer construction project to install critical wastewater infrastructure. This project requires phased closure of the on- and off-ramps at University Ave./ Campus Dr. and Highland Ave. through September 2025.
