    A man in his 70s has died in a four-vehicle collision in Co Wexford. The incident occurred on the N25 at Orristown at approximately 5.15pm on Tuesday. The driver of one of the vehicles, a male in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford. Gardaí say a postmortem examination will take place in due course. No other injuries were reported. The road will remain partially closed overnight.

    Five men have been arrested in a major operation involving over 100 Gardaí, targeting an organised crime group in the west Dublin area. The arrests follow the abduction and torture of another man in recent days. The operation, which began out on Saturday morning, was led by Detectives and Uniform Units from Blanchardstown Garda Station and supported by the Emergency Response Unit (ERU) and Armed Support Unit (ASU).
