Willoughby Hills was contacted by Thrivent Financial Services in the city to partner on a shred event. The event is scheduled for April 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 35405 Chardon Road. “That date falls on Good Friday, so the city is closed and will not be negatively impacted by the event in the parking lot,” said Mayor Chris Hallum. The city is encouraging residents to mark their calendars if they have paperwork that they would like to have shredded.
