Authorities say an arrest has been made in connection with the two bodies that were found in the woods near a Walmart in Salem, Massachusetts, on Wednesday afternoon. The Essex District Attorney's Office said that 30-year-old Jay Blodget has been charged with two counts of murder and will be arraigned Thursday morning in Salem District Court. They said no additional details will be released prior to his arraignment.

Roberts was a friend of John O'Keefe, Read's Boston police officer boyfriend, and was with Read on the morning they found his body. A well-known local restaurant was heavily damaged in a fire overnight in Windham, New Hampshire. The fire at The Windham Restaurant on Range Road was reported just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. The restaurant occupies one of the town's most significant historical sites, an old house built in 1812, and has long been rumored to be haunted.

Inside the courtroom, the opening statements were different and the attorneys delivering them were different. And outside, NBC10 Boston's Melody Mendez said on Tuesday's episode of "Canton Confidential" that the scene is a far cry from what we saw during the first trial. Particularly the buffer zone, which Judge Beverly Cannone has extended to 200 feet in every direction.
