(WANE)— Forensic and crime scene experts took the stand for the state in the third day of the trial of Alison Davis on Thursday. Davis is accused of killing her husband, Kevin, in their New Haven home in Aug. 2023 after he was found unresponsive at the bottom of a staircase in a pool of blood. The prosecution called six more witnesses Thursday before resting, bringing their total number of witness testimonies to 14.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)— The trial for a New Haven woman charged with murder in connection to the 2023 death of her husband began Tuesday at the Allen County Courthouse. Alison Davis is accused of causing injuries to her husband, Kevin Davis, that led to his death on Aug. 12, 2023. Around 4:30 a.m. that morning, police were called to their home on Douglas Ln. in New Haven. When police and EMS arrived, they found Davis laying in a pool of blood at the bottom of a staircase.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)— Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker announced Monday that 35 neighborhoods have been awarded improvement grants. The announcement was made in the Hamlets of Woodland Ridge neighborhood on the city’s far southwest side. The Hamlets of Woodland Ridge East received money for a brand new entrance sign and branded street signs. The Hamlets of Woodland Ridge West will have native plants and two rock outcroppings to stabilize the neighborhood pond’s shoreline erosion.
