A long-standing, family-owned Peruvian restaurant in Jackson Heights, Queens has expanded to open a Huntington location. Urubamba is New York City's oldest Peruvian restaurant, opened in 1970 by Julian and Maria Ruiz. Their granddaughter, Silvana Rojas, brings a chic and modern version to Long Island. Just ahead of The Farm Italy opening in Westbury next month, restaurateur John Tunney is also expanding the Italian eatery to the Mohegan Sun casino resort in Connecticut. The Farm Italy's original Huntington eatery opened in 2023 and remains one of the most sought-after reservations on Long Island. Housemade pastas, like pappardelle Bolognese, and fresh-baked bread are two of the draws, along with its cozy front bar, lofty dining room, patio tables, terrific cocktails and generous portions.

BREAKING: While boasting on Fox News about her efforts to dismantle the Department of Education, Linda McMahon couldn’t even explain what the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) is. This is the person trying to destroy education in America. Let that sink in. https://t.co/2ShdrBJQdK
