    MADISON (WKOW) -- Residents with scheduled trash and recycling pickup on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, should make sure their carts are placed at the curb by 6:30 a.m. for collection. However, because of extreme cold conditions, some pickups may be delayed until the following day. What to Do If Your Cart Isn't Collected If your trash or recycling is not collected Tuesday, and you had your cart out by the specified time, please leave it at the curb.

    MADISON (WKOW) - 27 News' Pet of the Week is Piglet!The Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) says Piglet is a 5-month-old Great Dane mix-possibly with a dash of boxer. He arrived at DCHS earlier this week with nine other pups from an overcrowded Texas shelter. True to her name, Piglet is a playful and sweet bundle of energy. She's always up for attention, treats, and some backyard zoomies.
