    PAYSON, Utah — One Payson Junior High School student is in police custody after bringing a gun to class. In a post on Facebook, Kevin Mecham, the principal of Payson Junior High School, wrote that students reported that one of their peers had a gun on school grounds. School administrators worked with a resource officer to quickly locate the student. The gun was taken away and secured and nobody was harmed.

    SALT LAKE CITY— In November, Salt Lake City police arrested nine people in connection to driving under the influence, or DUI. According to a SLCPD news release, the DUI arrests have occurred between 12 a.m. on Nov. 3 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 10. Police say that number may go up as officials process more officer reports. The most recent arrest occurred Sunday after a 27-year-old woman was taken into custody for allegedly crashing her vehicle into a house.

According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, the person was near 921 N Poinsettia Dr when they got stabbed in the stomach. Officers are searching for the suspect. This is a developing story.
