ST. LOUIS — Groups of people engaged in reckless stunt driving at six locations across the city Sunday night, spurring police to use spike strips to slow down or disable 40 to 50 of the vehicles. One juvenile who was in a crash near one of the sites, a lot at Second and Shenandoah streets, fled on foot but later turned himself in to police, said police spokesman Mitch McCoy at a Monday news conference. No one else was arrested, McCoy said.

ST. LOUIS — Rich Bradley will continue as president of the Board of Public Service under Mayor Cara Spencer, the mayor's office announced Friday. Bradley, an engineer, has been in the post since 2009. His office is in charge of planning, design and construction of city public works projects. Bradley also oversees agencies that manage city vehicles and buildings. The board, made up of the heads of various city departments, meets weekly and decides on permits for special events and other matters.

ST. LOUIS — Hours after losing his bid to stay on as U.S. attorney in Washington, ex-St. Louisan Ed Martin was named Thursday night to another Justice Department post by President Donald Trump. Trump said Martin would become director of the department's Weaponization Working Group and be an associate deputy attorney general and pardon attorney. The Associated Press said the pardon role will put him in the position of recommending pardons for some defendants involved in the violent Jan.
