A new baseball franchise is coming to Beaumont, looking to connect with the local community while giving players a chance to pursue professional careers. The Mid-America League announced Friday that Beaumont will be home to an expansion franchise. It's a summer league that features players from college programs, along with players who were undrafted, unsigned or former professionals trying to continue their careers.
