It transmits a high-definition digital signal on VHF channel 12 from its transmitter located in Mauriceville. Viewers can also access the station through Time Warner cable, DISH, DirecTV, and various other cable providers across Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. Owned by TEGNA Broadcasting, KBMT operates its studios along the I-10/U.S. 69/U.S. 96/U.S. 287 corridor in Southeast Texas. Since the digital transition began over a decade ago, KBMT has expanded its network to include five additional stations, forming the core of The Networks of 12News.
