MENOMINEE — Swirling winds, chilly temperatures and a Riverside Golf Course pockmarked with puddles didn’t deter the Menominee High School golf team from defending its home turf against Stephenson and Carney-Nadeau on Tuesday. The Maroon boys cruised to victory with a combined score of 169, 45 strokes better than runner-up Stephenson, who carded a joint score of 214. Carney-Nadeau brought up the rear with a 256. kAm~?

MARINETTE — Amid howling winds and underneath steel-grey skies, the Marinette High School softball team tasted defeat for the first time this season, as the Lady Marines were ousted by Luxemburg-Casco 17-1 in five innings on Monday.
