MARINETTE — After a year of discussions, the Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA has decided to move. Officials have contacted Marinette County to express interest in purchasing the Max E. Peterson Field House, located on the University of Wisconsin’s Green Bay-Marinette Campus. Marinette County Administrator John Lefebvre, at last Wednesday’s Infrastructure Committee meeting, said he and Facilities Director Martin Keyport met with YMCA board members a little over two weeks ago.

MARINETTE — Later this month, 150 students will graduate from the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Marinette Campus. The school offers associate degrees, one-year technical diplomas and short-term certificates. Eight students are graduating from Marinette’s Computer Numerical Control Machining Program. MARINETTE — A Coleman man was sentenced Thursday in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 1 for the death of an infant after a car accident about 18 months ago at the intersection of Kamm Road and U.S. 41. Michael A. Galbraith, 47, drove into the path of the vehicle driven by Cody J. Price, Oconto, on Oct. 6, 2023.
