TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo woman has won a civil lawsuit that she filed against the owner of a south Toledo gas station. Cherylynn Mickles told Call 11 for Action in May that she filled up her gas tank at 905 South Ave., a former Valero on March 3. Then, her car broke down on the High Level bridge almost immediately after that.

SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — Our Call 11 for Action team is seeing a lot of complaints involving contractors taking money and their time with jobs. It was December of 2022 when Mary Davis's pipes burst, flooding her Seneca County home. The work to fix it is still not done, and there's no end in sight. "I want my house done, period," said Davis. "I'm not expecting perfection from you. I've given you enough and I want my house done." Davis is as frustrated as anyone would be.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A disabled U.S. Navy veteran from Toledo can now enjoy a new deck after contacting Call 11 for Action to get help with her situation. In March, Kallie Morris, 44, told Call 11 for Action that the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) installed new railings on her deck in 2023, but those railings were nailed onto an existing, collapsing deck.
