    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men wanted in connection with a deadly domestic violence shooting in Frayser last month have been arrested in Georgia, the Marietta Police Department says. Martavious Jenkins, 34, and Lacameron Jenkins, 24, were taken into custody by the Marietta Special Weapons and Tactics team and the Special Operations Group at a residence on Cestridge Drive Thursday night. According to a relative, the men are cousins.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Matthew Simmons said the last time he talked to his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his two children was in January of 2022. Simmons always feared the worst for 34-year-old Brandy Anderson. Last month, he learned hunters had found the remains of a woman in a wooded area off Ashley Road in Dyer County. Simmons said DNA from one of his daughters confirmed it was Anderson. “I was heartbroken,” Like, I thought it was just a dream, but it’s not,” said Simmons.

The West Tennessee Drug Task Force said agents with the 30th District were conducting criminal interdiction operations Tuesday morning when they came across the suitcase containing several thousand dollars, as well as some 7-Eleven deposit bags and slips. The West Tennessee Drug Task Force said agents with the 30th District were conducting criminal interdiction operations Tuesday morning when they came across the suitcase containing several thousand dollars and some 7-Eleven deposit bags and slips. Agents determined the robbery in Nashville had taken place six hours earlier and were able to identify at least one suspect.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Days after a shooting outside TJ Mulligan’s on Madison Avenue, employees say they are closing their doors for good. A bartender said they were being kicked out of their building because customers and others couldn’t behave. She said their last day in business was Saturday. The owners of other restaurants and businesses nearby said they’re glad to see the TJ Mulligans go.
