The state Public Service Commission will hold a hearing in Westchester County on utility company Consolidated Edison's proposed rate increases, Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said on Tuesday, April 8. Jenkins requested, in a letter to administrative law judges overseeing the rate case, a hearing by the state commission, which oversees utilities and determines rates. He said he offered the Westchester County Center, in White Plains, as a venue, according to Tuesday's news release.
