Nancy CutlerRockland/Westchester Journal NewsNearly two years after 19-year-old Sean Harris died after an hours-long standoff with Clarkstown police, the state Attorney General's Office has confirmed its preliminary probe has ended without any finding of police cause in the Central Nyack man's death. The AG's office reported that it has referred its records to the Rockland District Attorney's Office, which now has jurisdiction. DA Thomas Walsh did not immediately return a request for comment.

Kaplan School in West Nyack. The charges and new indictment stem from reported incidents involving Kaplan School TA Catherine Rios. The 54-year-old is accused of pushing the heads of two Kaplan students underwater at the school's therapeutic pool complex.
