    KENT, Ohio — Kent business owners were divided over the status of Franklin Avenue's DORA or Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area. A portion of the road would traditionally shut down in the warmer months. Despite pushback, city leaders have determined no changes will happen there, and the road will remain closed. The picnic tables and road closed signs were put back in place along Franklin Avenue. It will remain temporarily CLOSED to car traffic once again.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — The man accused of killing Cleveland Clinic nurse Aliza Sherman more than a decade ago will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. at Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Gregory Moore faces one count of aggravated murder, one count of conspiracy, six counts of murder and two counts of kidnapping in the killing of Sherman. News 5 is also just learning that Moore’s attorney is trying to get him out of jail on bond before the case goes to trial.

    MENTOR, Ohio — The City of Mentor is buzzing for Sebastian Gil. The top-tier speller is still working to contain his emotions over the opportunity of a lifetime. "I'm very excited," Sebastian Gil said. Gil's name is plastered front and center on the sign outside of Memorial Middle School. "It's a new experience, and there's gonna be a lot of things to enjoy," Gil said. The ambitious 13-year-old has been putting in a ton of work to achieve his goal of making it to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
