Jacob Julien's goal with 5:07 remaining in the third period gave the London Knights a 3-1 victory over the host Rimouski Oceanic on Day 3 of the 2025 Memorial Cup tournament. Julien finished a three-way passing play started by Easton Cowan as Cowan gained the Oceanic blue line and sent a pass to the right of the slot to Kasper Halttunen and Halttunen put the puck to Julien and he put the puck in.

Sam O'Reilly of the London Knights got to the net 4:23 into overtime and Easton Cowan found him for the game winning goal as the Knights edged the Moncton Wildcats 3-2 to open their 2025 Memorial Cup schedule. The teams mirrored each other through the first 40 minutes in nearly every way and created a hard-fought and heavy effort befitting of the two clubs who had the best winning percentages in the Canadian Hockey League in 2024-25.

The London Knights defeated the Oshawa Generals 5-2 on May 15 to win their second consecutive J. Ross Robertson Cup. The victory completed an incredible run in which the Knights lost just once on their way to their sixth Ontario Hockey League title as a franchise. It was the second straight year that London and Oshawa faced each other in the Championship series and the first time that had happened since 1955.

For the ninth time in 14 playoff games the London Knights scored at least five goals as they beat the Oshawa Generals 5-2 in Game 2 of the OHL Championship Series. Easton Cowan was in on all five. He scored two goals and added three assists as the Knights evened the best-of-7 series at a game apiece. After four of the six goals in Game 1 were scored on the man advantage it was a power play that got the scoring going in Game 2.
