During the academic program, ACES alumni are invited to come back to campus with their youth ages 8-13 to take courses, explore more of campus, and eventually graduate at the end. The board has been working to prepare for the Macon County Fair, which starts next week. The fair board is a nonprofit organization that includes the help of a lot of volunteer hours in order to put the fair on.

    DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Sean Bowsher and Nikki Harnack joined WCIA’s Mitchell Rife to talk about the upcoming Hardy’s Race for the Lake event. Hardy’s Race for the Lake will take place from June 7-8 at Basin 2 at Lake Decatur. The event will include the 60 fastest hydroplane boats in the nation over the course of two full days of racing. The hydroplane speeds get up to 150 miles per hour. This is the second year back to boat racing in Decatur after a 20-year hiatus.
