Next month, the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for an ordinance issuing a new temporary ban, which it referred to as a moratorium, on accepting applications for commercial solar energy farms in the county.

By Molly Montag, News CorrespondentOfficials say three stretches of Kossuth County road will soon be under construction for resurfacing projects. The combined $4.8 million in work will be done on County Road P30, County Road B55 and County Road B63. Work has started on B63 and, weather permitting, Kossuth County Engineer Doug Miller said it will begin soon in the other two locations.
