Renderings by the design firm Gensler show the brick and steel facade with lots of windows in the Chicago School style of architecture.     A newsstand that has been selling papers on Chicago's far northwest side since 1943 is closing at the end of the month. Kaage's Newsstand sits under an honorary street sign for his family at the corner of Northwest Highway and Oliphant in Edison Park. Owner Mike Kaage wears an apron and change dispenser similar to one he did when he started working at the stand at age 5 back in 1961.

    Police have identified a suspect wanted for the stabbing deaths of a woman and a girl in a townhome last night in the northwest suburbs. Streamwood police are looking for 25-year-old Jalonie Jenkins and consider him armed and dangerous. The medical examiner has identified the victims as 10-year-old Uyani Jones and 21-year-old Janiya Jenkins. A neighbor says they are sisters, and that Uyani was best friends with her daughter.
