OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – It was an emotional morning at Tinker Air Force Base remembering April 19, 1995, one of the darkest days in Oklahoma history. “The tragedy that struck in the heart of Oklahoma City,” said Colonel Abigail Ruscetta, the 72nd Air Base Wing Commander at Tinker AFB. 168 lives, including those of two airmen from Tinker were taken. Airman Cartney McRaven was a member of the 3rd Combat Communications Group.

Dr. Josh Delich was unanimously approved as Edmond Public Schools’ 23rd Superintendent at Monday morning’s special board meeting. “What I want to be able to do is come in, let people get to know me at a very deep level, and be able to leave knowing we’re going to continue this exceptional excellence for students and our staff and our system,” said Delich.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — BioTC, Oklahoma’s first biomanufacturing workforce training center, celebrated a milestone on Friday. The program’s first cohort, made up of four trainees, received their official certifications. “It’s just, it’s truly exciting,” said Priscilla Aguilar, a graduate. “This is kind of the future of medicine, if you think about it.” The program is a part of the OKC Innovation District.
