SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Three people have been indicted on murder charges for the 2023 shooting deaths of two people. Vaquez Lisan Coleman, Harold Jakarius Roberson and Joshua Ishmer Reddick are charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and criminal attempt to commit a felony. The charges are linked to the shooting deaths of 16-year-old Semaj Floyd and 20-year-old Omarion Whitfield.

DOUGLAS, Ga. (WSAV) — Almost 20 years ago, a woman was found shot and killed in Coffee County. Tuesday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced her husband, 58-year-old Jon Worrell was arrested and charged with her death. Doris Worrell was found dead inside their local business, Jon’s Sports Park, on Sept. 20, 2006, officials said. Jon reportedly told officials that he had left the business to run errands and Doris had stayed to clean.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Law enforcement is searching for a missing three-year-old who is believed to be in extreme dangers, according to the GBI. Officials said they believe Leilani Elliot was taken without permission during a supervised visit in the 900 block of Wheaton Street. She was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie, dark spandex pants and white shoes. She has black hair with braids and beads. She was taken by Jessy Elliot, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported.

ATLANTA (WSAV) — A bill making it illegal to sell dogs, cats and rabbits on roadsides, parks and parking lots was signed into law on Friday. Governor Brian Kemp has officially signed House Bill 331 into law. Advocates have called the bill a victory for efforts to combat backyard breeding, puppy mills and illicit pet sales.

By Natasha Young BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) - A 39-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving rolled into a pond in Beaufort County. The county coroner's office identified the man as Alejandro Patino, of Brunswick Ga. He reportedly died on scene after the utility vehicle rolled into a pond on Sagebrook Drive at approximately 11:53 a.m. Monday. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
