BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — A day in the garden turned into a fight for a man’s life when he was attacked by an alligator. The man was in his back yard on Colburn Drive West in the Sun City Subdivision when gator attacked him, biting him in several places. When the man’s wife heard him scream, she grabbed a tomato stake and poked the alligator in the eyes and also struck it several times on its head. Her quick thinking worked as the gator let go of her husband.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Grand Jury returned two indictments on Tuesday, April 9. The Grand Jury’s first indictment was for Donzel Chambers on Malice Murder, Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault. Chambers is accused of shooting and killing Diontae Roberson on August 11th, 2022. He is being held without bond in the Chatham County Jail. The second indictment was for Anthony Hamilton on the charge of Illegal Use of Unmanned Aircraft on April 9th.
