The Indiana County YMCA Mack Park Pool is set to open for Teen Only Night from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday at Mack Park. Although only teens can attend Friday’s pool opening, people of all ages can visit the pool during its regular hours Saturday, according to Indiana YMCA CEO Eric Neal. Though, Neal said the pool’s opening date will depend on the weather.

The River Valley School District board of directors on Tuesday approved a variety of business items going into the new school year, including the district’s 2025-26 preliminary budget of $36.7 million. Absent from Tuesday’s agenda, however, was a motion to approve River Valley’s member share for the Indiana County Technology Center’s 2025-26 budget.
