LOLETA, Calif. — A Loleta man was arrested on multiple charges related to the alleged sexual assault and trafficking of a minor, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). Jarred Vaughan, 22, was taken into custody Friday morning following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Division. The case began in late April after deputies received a report of ongoing sex abuse involving a minor at a property on Indianola Reservation Road in Loleta.
