Yet thousands of children in the Cleveland area are sleeping on the floor or on a couch, impacting that good night’s sleep. They don’t have a bed of their own. But a local group is working to be part of the solution. Volunteers for ‘Sleep in Heavenly Peace’ meet about once a month in a Brook Park warehouse.

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WOIO) - Friday is a milestone in one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in Northeast Ohio, the kidnapping and murder of 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic. Oct. 27 marks 34 years since she was taken from a shopping plaza in Bay Village. But the case is still being actively investigated. Bay Village Det. Sgt. Jay Elish says the last round of testing on Amy’s clothes found DNA that was too degraded and too small of a sample to lead to a suspect profile.
