COLLEGE PARK, M.D. (WETM) – Two local grads and three regional teams are moving on in the NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament. In Division I, McNaney guided Maryland to an impressive 1st round victory over Air Force. The 2022 tournament MVP made 10 saves in the 13-5 win, while allowing just 3 goals.

ITHACA, N.Y. (WETM) – Corning boys lacrosse rallied to earn one of their biggest victories of the season. After trailing 5-3 at the half, Corning powered past Ithaca with a 5-1 rally at Moresco Stadium. Out of the break, James Freeman delivered back-to-back scores to even the game at 5.
