PERHAM — One of the attributes that separates homosapiens from the rest of the animal kingdom is their ability to run long distances. Lee Hoedl has taken that to the next level. At 62 years old, Hoedl has completed 91 marathons – still striving for the lucky No. 100 – and has climbed a majority of the tallest mountains. Most recently, he trekked to Everest Basecamp (17,598 feet) and Khumbu Icefall (17,999 feet) on the Khumbu Glacier.
