TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Hearing loss is something that is more common as we age. What’s not as common, though, is people getting checked out when symptoms arise. Mineola sisters Ruth McDougald, 83, and Sandy Prince, 77, were both diagnosed with hearing loss last November. Sandy says she noticed her older sister, Ruth, slowly needing things repeated to her more often. Shortly after that, Sandy says she started seeing a change in her own hearing.
