New Bears coach Ben Johnson will face the Vikings on Monday Night Football in his first game. AP The Bears will play two games on Monday Night Football, including the season opener Sept. 8 against the Vikings at Soldier Field, the NFL announced Wednesday. The Bears’ other Monday night game is Week 6 at Washington, where their 2024 season fell apart following a last-second Hail Mary touchdown by the Commanders that won the game. The Bears’ bye week is Week 5.
