CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police have arrested a man who stabbed a co-worker during an altercation. Tyeem Tony Lance, 46, of Charleston, is charged with second-degree assault and battery. Officers responded to the scene on June 6 at approximately 2:45 p.m. to Fuel Cantina on Rutledge Avenue for a report that an employee was stabbed by a coworker during an altercation, Lt. Anthony Gibson says. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has named the man shot to death during an officer-involved shooting. Patrick David Hatcher, 61, of Summerville, was killed during an encounter with a Summerville Police Officer, Coroner Paul Brouthers says.

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating an officer-involved shooting at a Summerville mobile home park Saturday night that injured one. Officers responded to a house at the Summervillage Mobile Home Park for a welfare check at approximately 8 p.m.Upon arrival, they heard a gunshot and confronted the suspect, according to Deputy Chris Hirsch. During the encounter, an officer shot the suspect, injuring them.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC/AP) - The state of South Carolina executed a 57-year-old man convicted of two separate murders in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Stephen Stanko, 57, was sentenced for two separate murders in 2005 in Horry and Georgetown Counties, WMBF reports. Stanko killed his live-in girlfriend, strangling her as he raped her teenage daughter in the woman’s home in neighboring Georgetown County. He slit the teen’s throat, but she survived.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities with the North Charleston Police Department have released a dash camera of an excavator pursuit that ended in an arrest early Sunday morning. Johnny Mesa, 53, was arrested and has been charged with failure to stop for a blue light, malicious injury to real property and malicious injury to real property enhancement, according to police spokesman Harve Jacobs.
