I loved the first season of seaside mystery Whitstable Pearl when it premiered in 2021. So I was excited to find out recently that two more seasons are available on Acorn TV for streaming. Season 2 picks up a few months after the end of Season 1, with restaurant owner Pearl Nolan (Kerry Godliman) forging ahead with her private detective agency.

I remember tuning into Fox Kids in 1992 when X-Men: The Animated Series originally started airing on television. So I couldn’t miss the X-Men ’97 panel at FAN EXPO Chicago, where Larry F. Houston, Catherine Disher and Cal Dodd shared stories about the first TV series and what it was like to come back to this mutant storyline. Director/producer Houston returned for X-Men ’97 as a consulting producer and Dodd is back to voice Wolverine.

During FAN EXPO Chicago, moderator Krystle Elyse Colon asked voice actors Peter Cullen (Rescue Rangers) and Frank Welker (Scooby Doo, Where are You?) at what point they knew The Transformers started becoming popular. Fans have been celebrating the cartoon about the Autobots and Decepticons for the 40th anniversary since its premiere on TV. And this year, they are celebrating at FAN EXPO CHICAGO.

For Resident Alien‘s Alan Tudyk (Moana, Rogue One), one of the best moments in his life was meeting Robin Williams. He told the story to fans at his Fan Expo Philadelphia panel. While Tudyk only had a minor role on Patch Adams, he was on set for a few days. He spent the breaks joking around with fellow actor and friend Michael Jeter (The Green Mile). When the two started doing weird voices by the window on one break, Williams came over and joined in.

Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan agree that they weren’t like their Charmed characters at all. The actors met fans recently at Fan Expo Philadelphia and shared memories about the fantasy drama series. “We kind of melded together in the end, but in the beginning, [my character] Piper was very hyper. And [she] walked very fast, and talked very fast. She was a lot! She needed to mellow out,” said Combs. To portray younger sister Paige, McGowan changed her voice and mannerisms entirely.

Enjoyed a moving and funny performance of #UncleVanya tonight at the @ShakespeareinDC. I enjoyed reading #Chekhov after college, so it was wonderful to finally see one of his plays done live. 🎭🙂 https://t.co/yUPp2uEtdk
