U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson is right that President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" irresponsibly adds trillions of dollars to the federal debt. But he offers the wrong solution. Donald Trump is trying to limit the number of international students at American universities. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., was able to get Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" through the House of Representatives. The bill, likely the only significant legislation Congress will pass before the 2026 midterms, does everything from extending Trump's 2017 tax cuts to beefing up border security, all while severely cutting benefits to the poorest Americans. The bill will also add trillions to America's already out-of-control debt. But whether it gets through the Senate remains to be seen.

The election, won by liberal candidate Susan Crawford, was the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history, thanks in large part to millions spent by Elon Musk in support of the conservative candidate, Brad Schimel. Now the race for the next Supreme Court election is heating up.
