    Marian Evelyn Kurner (nee Lloyd) passed away on April 16, 2025. She was born November 16, 1928, the second daughter of Franklin Chapman and Hettie Virginia (nee Geisinger) Lloyd. Descended from many generations of Ohio River Valley settlers, Marian was raised in Steubenville, Ohio, with her sister Ruth and brother Franklin. She attended school in Steubenville where she met her future husband, Charles “Chuck” Kurner, in seventh grade.

    John Francis Rauch, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and entrepreneur, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the age of 90. John was a cherished resident of Marietta, Ohio and was born on October 30, 1934, in Lowell, Ohio to Herman and Rosa Boma Rauch. A proud graduate of Lowell High School, John went on to serve his country in the Army from 1958 to 1961.

    Shirley Ann Huffman, 88, of Parkersburg passed away April 29, 2025, at Worthington Nursing Home. She was born in Marietta, OH a daughter of the late Darrell V. and Elsie (Needs) Cutshaw. She was a dedicated homemaker and also worked for Union Carbide. A faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, she served with compassion and commitment as a Pastoral Care Giver and Deaconess and was an active participant in the Bonnie White Circle. She was an enthusiastic bowler and competitive Scrabble player.
