    SANTA CRUZ — Authorities have identified the local man that was killed in a crash on Highway 17 last weekend. A spokesperson for the Santa Cruz County Sheriff Coroner’s Office told the Sentinel the decedent was 78-year-old Daniel Landry, a resident of Santa Cruz County. As of Tuesday, Landry was the only individual killed in the collision, which injured four others and involved at least three vehicles.
