JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A murder suspect who was on the run for nearly a decade has finally been caught and is behind bars. The Jackson Police Department arrested 48-year-old Calvin Horton. He is being charged with murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. On Friday, he was denied bond.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Bond was denied for the man accused of killing two people in Jackson over the weekend. On Monday, 36-year-old Jarvis Anderson made his initial court appearance. The Jackson man is being charged with two counts of murder and one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. The two people he’s accused of killing have been identified as 33-year-old Carey Frost and 37-year-old Tiffany Johnson.
