ROGERS PARK — Finally feeling better after a few weeks of illness, Georgette Flowers thought she would make some brownies. Mayor Brandon Johnson nominated Brian “Jawanza” Malone and Juliana Gonzalez-Crussi — both longtime community activists and nonprofit leaders — to fill two vacant spots on the housing agency’s board.
