PHOENIX -- Brian Gregory's basketball resume has plenty of gravitas thanks to nearly two decades as an NCAA Division I head coach at Dayton, Georgia Tech and South Florida. Sam Presti of the Oklahoma City Thunder was announced Tuesday as the NBA's executive of the year, the reward for building that team into a juggernaut that won a league-best 68 games this season. It is Presti's first time winning the award and the first time since 1994 that the franchise - which was then called the Seattle SuperSonics - had its top executive voted as the winner. Bob Whitsitt won it that season.

Aaron Gordon drilled a game-winning three-pointer with under four seconds remaining to complete a stunning 14-point comeback as the Denver Nuggets defeated the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder 121-119 in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series. The clutch shot marks Gordon's second game-winner of these playoffs, coming just 10 days after his buzzer-beating dunk against the LA Clippers in the first round. "When I shot it, did I know it was in?" Gordon said after the game.
