Also known as Operation Overlord, it lands 400,000 Allied American, British, and Canadian troops on the beaches of Normandy in German-occupied France. during World War II. The students were given goggles that simulated an impaired sense of sight due to drugs or alcohol, they then had to pass a tennis ball back and forth to evaluate depth perception, reaction time, and the clarity of vision when performing activities while under the influence.
