NORTH MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The man who killed two men, including a North Mankato native in the fall of 2022, is sentenced to 39 years in prison. Joseph Sandoval II killed the two inside a sober house in St. Paul: Jon Wentz, a man looking to turn his life around, and Jason Murphy, who had stayed there before. Murphy had come back to help those who had helped him. He was fixing plumbing in the basement when he was killed.
