A Bronx man is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a man numerous times on board a subway train in an unprovoked attack Friday morning. Detectives apprehended Lateef Green, 50, of Bronx Boulevard just before 7 p.m. on April 18, roughly 12 hours after he allegedly went on the attack on board a Manhattan-bound 5 train near the East 219th Street station in Williamsbridge.

Bronx detectives continue to search for the suspect who shot two men, killing one of them, at a public housing complex on Easter Sunday. Police said the double shooting happened at about 2 p.m. on April 20 on the grounds of the Mott Haven Houses, behind 350 East 143rd St.Officers from the 40th Precinct and NYPD PSA 7, in responding to a 911 call about shots fired, found two victims at the scene: a 45-year-old man shot in the torso, and a 40-year-old man shot multiple times in the abdomen.

Detectives in the Bronx are investigating the tragic discovery of a mother and her 8-year-old child who were found dead inside a residence Friday night. The horrific find occurred at about 8:26 p.m. on April 18, when officers from the 47th Precinct were called to a home on the 600 block of East 231st Street in Wakefield. Upon arriving at the scene, cops found a 38-year-old woman and an 8-year-old boy inside the location unconscious and unresponsive.
