He and his wife Donna were married in 1954 and they celebrated 70 years of marriage together on June 12. Andersen turned 17 years old in 1951 and joined the military on his birthday that year.

The show centered on the thoughts of Lincoln as he finishes writing his famed address, and reflects on slavery and lives lost in the Civil War.

    PERHAM — Street removal on Phase 4 of the Main Street construction project will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 14, according to a monthly update submitted to the Perham City Council by City Engineer Jade Berube. Berube was not present at the City Council meeting held on Monday, Aug. 12, but City Manager Jon Smith, who works closely with Berube, read the update to the council and fielded their questions. Phase 4 of the project runs along Main Street from First Avenue to Fourth Avenue Southwest.
