A 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed while riding an MTA shuttle bus through Brooklyn, police said Sunday. Cops responding to a 911 call just before 2 p.m. found the victim stabbed in the abdomen on the J90 shuttle bus near Crescent and Etna Sts. in Cypress Hills. EMS rushed the victim to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, where he died, according to police. There have been no immediate arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

A 35-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in lower Manhattan, police said. Cops responded to a 911 call about an assault shortly before 9 p.m. near Pearl St. and St. James Place, in the Two Bridges neighborhood, where they discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. EMS transported him to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, according to police. There have been no immediate arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

A depraved man pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a vulnerable woman for nearly a year, using her addiction to keep her under his control, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office announced. Between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31, 2025, Winston Williams forced the victim into prostitution by leading her to believe she was continually in his “debt” for supplying her with drugs —  and telling her he would subtract the cost from money she made turning tricks, according to court documents.

A reckless driver who ran over a police officer with his car, breaking her leg, while trying to evade a traffic stop in the Bronx has been sentenced to six years in prison, the Bronx District Attorney’s office has announced. Usman Haruna, 27, led police on a high-speed chase in his black SUV when cops tried to pull him over for driving with an expired license plate around E. 194th St. and Marion Ave. in Fordham, according to court documents.

NEW YORK - Protests at Brooklyn College quickly escalated into chaos Thursday evening as pro-Palestine demonstrators attempted to take over Boylan Hall and police were called to the scene. Social media accounts livestreaming the protest depicted a chaotic scene of protesters clashing with police officers. One post on X appears to show a protester screaming in pain while being tased by police. Other accounts allege that at least eight people have been arrested so far.
